Director Priyadarshan was on break from the Bollywood from last 3 years and he is coming back soon with Akshay kumar and Paresh Rawal.
Though Priyadarshan is still celebrating his recent success for movie Oppam. Priyadarshan’s previous movies include Hera Pheri, Hungama, Hulchul, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke, Dhol, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
The 59-year-old director said that the film will be on the lines of the hilarious comedies the director-actor duo has done together in the past. Akshay kumar will be in lead role. It may also star Paresh Rawal.
Priyadarshan is also working on a remake of the Tamil hit Visaranai, which was recently selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars.
The film, which will be written by Priyadarshan and the Chennai Express writer Yunus, will be shot in Mumbai and Punjab. This untitled project will mark seventh project of the Hera Pheri director and the Khiladi Kumar together.
The movie will go on floors by March 2017.

Priyadarshan Soman Nair is a National Award winning Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. In a career spanning almost three decades, Priyadarshan has directed over 80 films in several Indian languages, predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi languages, besides making six films in Tamil and two in Telugu. Though Priyadarshan began his career in Malayalam cinema in 1984, he has been mainly active in Bollywood (Hindi cinema) during 2001-2010. He has done about 26 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by a Bollywood director after David Dhawan. In 2013, he announced Rangrezz would be his last Hindi film for a while, and he is shifting focus to Malayalam cinema.
