Navjot Singh Sidhu announced news political front ‘Aawaaz-e-Punjab’
Siddhu is ready for next year’s assembly election in Punjab, former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sindhu has announced his new front named “Awaaz-e-Punjab.”
Pargat Singh and Bains brothers are his partners in this party. This party will be formally launched next week.
Mr. Siddhu resigned from the BJP in July speculations were saying that he will join AAP as the cheif mininsterial candidate. But Mr. Arvind kejriwal said he need time to think for future plans so for some time there was confusion about the Sidhu’s move.
Kejriwal’s tweet on this issue:
Among those they have contacted is Sucha Singh Chhotepur, recently sacked by the Aam Aadmi Party as its Punjab chief. He has been supported by several zonal leaders of AAP and is said to be in the process of setting up his own party.
Mr Sidhu had walked out of the BJP in July and was in talks to join Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party for weeks. Those talks reportedly floundered over Mr Sidhu’s demand that he be projected as the party’s candidate for chief minister.
