Rustom wins weekend BO with Rs 50.42 cr , Mohenjo Daro earns Rs 30.54 cr. Airlift was this year’s first film to enter 100 crore club and that too in 10 days of its release. Rustom collected Rs. 14.11 crore on day 1. The movie found it’s place at among the top five openers of 2016 and secured the fourth position in the list.
Rustom is a 2016 Indian thriller film written by Vipul K Rawal and directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It features Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta in the lead roles. The film released alongside Mohenjo Daro on 2317 screens across India on August Despite the clash, Rustom collected a strong 14.11 cr. on it’s opening day. In three days the film has netted 50.42 cr in India.The film is loosely based on the real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati.
