Due to heavy rainfall flood like condition has been emerged in the Uttar pradesh, Bihar and uttarakhand.
Flood situation is dangerous in Bihar as Ganga continues to pour and flood water entered many parts of the patna city on Saturday. An alert has been raised by the administration as the river ganga was flowing above the danger mark.The CWC (Central Water Commission) has raised an alert that Ganga can witness rise in water level in the this week. Flood water entered the ground floor of the apartment forcing the residents to leave their homes to safer places. Vehicles parked at the apartment were also half submerged under the flood water.Many districts along the Ganga basin in Bihar are witnessing flood-like situation because of continuous rise in water levels. At various districts the flood water has entered villages. In Patna’s Gandhi Ghat area, the level of Ganga touched 50.28 meters on Saturday evening.
With heavy rainfall throughout this season, the River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh has risen above the danger mark and water has entered residential areas in Allahabad.
